Guoman and Thistle name Edward Pinchard as sales director

Guoman and Thistle Hotels has promoted Edward Pinchard to the role of sales director, making him responsible for its entire London and international sales operation. Previously, Pinchard was head of sales UK for Thistle Hotels and also worked at an international management level for both Hilton and Intercontinental Hotels.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading and developing the newly structured sales team for Guoman and Thistle in London, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Commenting on his move, Pinchard said: "Both Guoman and Thistle are approaching an exciting phase in their development and our confidence in both brands and their individual offering enables us to fully progress our new national and international sales strategies.
