A topping out ceremony has taken place at what will be the largest Hampton by Hilton in the UK and the first in central London.
The 297-bedroom Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo is owned by Shiva Hotels and being developed in conjunction with McAleer & Rushe.
Shiva Hotels signed an agreement with Hilton Worldwide in 2007 to develop 3,000 beds - under the Hilton, Doubletree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton brands - by 2017.
It is currently operating seven Hilton Worldwide-branded hotels, including the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. As well as the two Hampton by Hiltons set for spring 2014, Shiva is also planning to develop a 206-bedroom Hilton and 120-bedroom Hampton by Hilton in Leeds Quarry Hill.

There are currently 12 Hampton by Hiltons in the UK and more than 250 across Europe.
