Hastings Group plans biggest hotel in Northern Ireland
The Hastings Group has revised its plans to transform Windsor House in Belfast, one of the tallest buildings in Ireland, into the biggest hotel in Northern Ireland, according to reports.
Originally planned to have 200 bedrooms, http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/business/news/plans-to-make-belfasts-new-grand-central-northern-irelands-biggest-hotel-35217980.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">The Belfast Telegraphhas reported that the property will now have 304 rooms, which would make it the largest hotel in Northern Ireland.
Hastings Hotels bought Windsor House in May 2015 for £6.5m in order to convert it into a hotel. Hastings Hotels runs six four- and five-star hotels in Northern Ireland, including Stormont hotel and the 272-bedroom Europa hotel in Belfast.
Belfast architects WDR & RT Taggarts have been hired to develop the designs.
