Hilton Cardiff reveals results of £2m bedrooms refurb
The Hilton Cardiff hotel has revealed the results of its £2m refurbishment after four months of works.
The five-star, 197-bedroom hotel has updated its bedrooms in what it has called a "muted palette of whites and creams with bright cobalt feature elements and metallic fittings", from London and Turin-based designer, the Hickson Design Partnership.
The bedroom refurb also coincides with the 15th year since the hotel opened, and comes four years after the downstairs lobby, bar and ground floor toilets areas were renovated.
Marie Fagan, general manager of Hilton Cardiff, said: "This is an incredibly exciting time for Hilton Cardiff and we are very pleased to welcome the first guests to our new and improved rooms."
Set on a historic piece of city land, the hotel has views over Cardiff castle and the city's Edwardian civic centre, and forms part of the city's main centre.
Worldwide, the hotels and resorts branch of Hilton Worldwide now has more than 550 hotels across six continents. It other brands include the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels and Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Hampton.
