Hilton Worldwide launches international Rugby World Cup menu

Hilton Worldwide is hoping to capitalise on the Rugby World Cup with the launch of its internationally inspired food menu to celebrate England and Wales' host nation status. The group has unveiled an array of global dishes, snacks, wines and beers, which will be on offer during September and October.

As England welcomes teams from 20 countries for the sporting event, fans will be able to tuck into food inspired by some of the participating nations.

Dishes start from £10 and will include London Pride battered haddock fillet, chunky chips and tartare sauce, South African Boerewors roll with caramelised onions, apple, ale and chilli chutney and Argentinian sirloin steak baguette with chimichurri and fried onions among others.

Bar snacks will include biltong from South Africa in four different flavours, BBQ chicken wings, jerk pork spare ribs, pork scratchings, pretzels, wasabi peas and Joe & Seph's flavoured popcorn.

Anthony Worrall, director of food and beverage, UK & Ireland at Hilton Worldwide, said: "With hotels in nearly every key game city, Hilton is the perfect place to tuck into dinner and drinks before each game, catch up over post-match pints or pitch up and catch play on the TVs with a drink in hand and a selection of bar snacks to munch on."

The World Cup menu will be available at most Hilton Worldwide hotels across England and Wales.
