Stays at Holiday Inn hotels will be on a room-only basis, while guests at Holiday Inn Express will get a complimentary breakfast.
Denise Lewis (pictured), athlete ambassador for Holiday Inn, said: "With the Holiday Inn £20.12 room rate, visiting loved ones this Christmas is really affordable. This fantastic rate means people can enjoy time away from home without worrying about the expense."
Chris Hale, head of London 2012 for Holiday Inn, said: "The sale is for one day only and the rooms will go quickly so people should put 2012 day in their dairies and be ready to book their break."
