Hotel and pub/restaurant for sale as part of Keith Brown portfolio

A portfolio of eight freehold properties and three long leaseholds, including a hotel and a pub/restaurant has gone up for sale.

Christie + Co is handling the sale of the properties, all located in the north of England, for the Keith Brown Properties portfolio.

It also includes several health clubs and tenpin bowling centres.

The freehold of the Country Park Inn in Hessle, East Yorkshire, is up for sale for nearly £1.5m. It is adjacent to the Humber Bridge and Humber Bridge country park and originated as a pub and restaurant but has been extensively developed over the years to encompass a dedicated events suite with facilities for up to 400 guests and an annexe with eight cottage-style guest bedrooms. Planning consent was granted in 2011 for a 45-bedroom hotel development and for extension of the existing conference and function suites.

Meanwhile, the Welcome Inn is a 52-bedroom budget hotel in Rotherham. The hotel is situated close to the centre of Rotherham and within easy access of Sheffield Arena, Don Valley Stadium, the English Institute of Sport and Meadowhall Retail Park. The freehold is for sale for £795,000.

The freehold is available for offers from £795,000.
