Hotel and restaurants in Wembley casino plan

A deal is on the table to build a 400-bedroom luxury hotel on the doorstep of the new Wembley stadium.

Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment has teamed up with British property company Quintain Estates to unveil plans to build a £336m complex, which the pair will run as 50:50 joint venture.

The 650,000sq ft site will also include a casino, a string of restaurants, and the UK's biggest multiplex cinema.

But the proposed Caesars Wembley scheme will only go ahead if the Government goes through with its plans to relax the UK's gambling laws.

If the Gaming Bill is introduced in the current Parliament, the law could change as soon as spring 2005.
