Hotel Gotham to be ‘the sexiest' in Europe
A luxury, 60-bedroom hotel that intends to be "the sexiest" in Europe is to be opened by the Bespoke Hotel Group in the centre of Manchester in 2015.
Work will begin on converting the property in March 2014, with the opening date set for the following spring. The hotel will feature a restaurant, alongside a private members' bar and garden on the roof.
"Hotel Gotham promises to be a fun, witty destination and a little bit naughty," said Robin Sheppard, chairman of Bespoke Hotels. "We want it to be the sexiest hotel in Europe."
"Working with the skills of the Marshall Construction Group team as our partners we hope to open up the character of this majestic building and present it to the Manchester public as a hotel they can be truly proud of."
