Hotel planned for Birmingham's tallest tower
A 289-bedroom luxury hotel is to be developed within the UK's tallest building outside London, which has been given planning approval by Birmingham City Council.
The 56-storey Regal Tower will be situated at the corner of Broad Street and Sheepcote Street, Birmingham, and will include 256 serviced apartments, three floors of penthouses and boutique shops, as well as the hotel.
A triple-height foyer will feature a bar and restaurant and a banqueting suite for up to 500 covers, as well as conference and meeting rooms.
Other facilities include a double height bar on the 30th floor and a spa and fitness suite.
The 200-metre-high skyscraper is being developed by the Regal Property Group and designed by architects Aedas.
