Hotel Snoozebox signs new partnership with Silverstone Circuits

Hotel company Snoozebox and Silverstone Circuits have announced a five-year hotel accommodation agreement to help develop the racetrack's offer.

The two companies have already been working together to promote the venue, as Snoozebox has a hotel on the site and also runs a second property to support the racetrack's growing conference and events business.

The news of the partnership comes ahead of this weekend's Great British Grand Prix, during which 300,000 fans are expected to visit across four days. Over 1,000 room nights at Snoozebox have been sold for the event, which begins on Thursday and culminates in the Sunday race. The hotel company has created a package including race tickets, hospitality and accommodation.

He said: "We have been working in collaboration with Silverstone to develop further the original model of the event hotel. The venue can now offer the motorsport sector and the wider corporate market a full range of event, conferencing, hotel accommodation and other services on site, all year round."

Richard Phillips, managing director of Silverstone Circuits, said: "Our partnership with Snoozebox enables Silverstone to deliver a seamless event experience for our visitors, offering tickets, hospitality and accommodation, all in one package."

He added that the accommodation would also be integral to the racetrack's other motorsport and corporate events, including conferences at the site's Wing centre.
Currently in a period of expansion, Silverstone has also recently announced a new catering deal with new foodservice and venue management company Silverstone Hospitality, under Steven Saunders, who had previously worked at the venue with now-defunct former company Aspire.
