Hotel staff come to aid of fatal stabbing victim

Hotel staff came to the aid of the victim of a fatal stabbing in central London last night after he entered the property's lobby before collapsing.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the hotel in Euston Street at 10.44pm. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 11.31pm.

Officers have said the man entered the hotel lobby from the street, with staff contacting the emergency services.

Eleven people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the victim and a post-mortem will take place in due course.
