Ian Phillips returns to Celtic Manor Resort as rooms division director

Ian Phillips has returned to the Celtic Manor Resort as rooms division director. He was director of leisure at the South Wales venue when the five-star, 330-bedroom hotel opened in 1999. Following his departure in 2003, Phillips has held senior management positions with the Jumeirah Group in Dubai and at the Maldives Vittaveli luxury resort. While overseas, he also passed the hotel management programme at Cornell University.
