IHG launches ‘best price guarantee' website
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched what it describes as the "most powerful website guarantee" for guests booking on any of the IHG sites.
The Best Price Guarantee programme promises guests that if they find a proven lower room price on any other website, they will get the first night of their stay free of charge and the rest of their stay will be lowered to match the price found.
Matt Luscombe, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Europe, at IHG, said "When guests book our hotel rooms, they want to know they are getting the best possible price and also the security of booking with us directly.
"We're so confident we can deliver the best room prices through our websites that we'll match any lower price guests find elsewhere online and give them their first night for free."
IHG said it is the first global hotel company to offer this price commitment to its guests as part of the new Book With Us Advantage programme.
The Best Price Guarantee is available to guests that book through any of IHG's mobile apps or branded websites including InterContinental Hotels, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites.
