Interstate Europe adds Hilton Swindon to UK portfolio

The UK division of hotel management company Interstate Europe has added the 171-bedroom Hilton Swindon to its portfolio.

Acquired by EQ Group and affiliates, the hotel located close to Swindon town centre will be asset managed by EQ Hotels under a franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide.

Robert Crook, Interstate's managing director for the UK, said: "This Swindon hotel is the latest addition to our expanding UK portfolio and we look forward to working with EQ and the hotel staff to further enhance its performance and appeal amongst both leisure and business guests."

In January this year the firm added Radisson Blu Cardiff and Felbridge Hotel and Spa to its portfolio.

Interstate Europe is part of global hotel management company Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

It operates more than 60 hotels with more than 8,000 rooms in the UK, Ireland and Belgium under a number of brands including Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton, Ibis Styles and Marriott, as well as a selection of independent properties.
