Inverness operator buys Banffshire hotel
Don Maciver, a multiple operator from Inverness, is the new owner of the Waterfront hotel in Banffshire.
The three-storey property is on Old Shore Toad in the fishing port of Macduff in the Moray Firth.
It offers 15 bedrooms, a 47-seat restaurant, and a 20-seat bar. Maciver wants to build on the hotel's function trade, which revolves around a self-contained function suite with a large dance floor and a 20-seat separate dining and conference room.
The Edinburgh office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £500,000 on behalf of Colin and Shirley Chalmers.
