Julie Rogers of the Lowry hotel, Manchester, named AA Housekeeper of the Year
Attention to detail and consistently high-quality standards has won Julie Rogers of the Lowry hotel in Manchester the title of AA Housekeeper of the Year Award 2013.
Rogers, who has been at the five-star, 165-bedroom hotel for 12 years, received the award at a lunch at Galvin at Windows, London. She said her success is due to the fact that she believes a guest should always believe they are the first one to occupy their bedroom.
Simon Numphud, head of AA Hotel Services, said: "Julie is an excellent housekeeper and both her commitment to the housekeeping profession and her team clearly stood out in this year's judging and we are delighted to recognise her with this important award."
