Jurys Inn Liverpool to undertake £2m refurbishment
A £2m refurbishment is set to be carried out at the three-AA-star Jurys Inn Liverpool hotel, which will transform all 310 bedrooms, the lobby, bar and restaurant.
Work will also include the introduction of 16 new executive rooms, along with a renovation of the hotel's 10 meeting rooms and banqueting facilities. The hotel's bedrooms are expected to be complete by the end of March, while the public spaces are set for completion this summer.
John Brennan, chief executive at Amaris Hospitality, the umbrella company which operates Jurys Inn, said: "Jurys Inn Liverpool has been in operation for eight years now, and during this time it has delivered stand-out customer service for business and leisure travellers. It is with great pleasure that we're able to re-invest in the hotel and continue to meet the expectations of our visitors.
"We have prioritised investment into the hotel's bedroom offering, to include the introduction of 16 new executive bedrooms which will further enhance the hotel experience for our corporate travellers."
Richard Pearson, the new general manager at Jurys Inn Liverpool, added: "We are incredibly excited that Jurys Inn Liverpool is undergoing a significant refurbishment."
The hotel, which is located on the Kings Waterfront, will remain open throughout the refurbishment work.
Jurys Inn operates 40 hotels, 37 under the Jurys Inn brand, two under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand and one under the Garden Inn by Hilton brand. The hotels are all based in city centre locations in the UK, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
Amaris Hospitality is owned by private equity company Lone Star.
