Karelle Lamouche appointed CCO Europe for Accor

French hotel group Accor has appointed Karelle Lamouche (pictured) to the newly created role of chief commercial officer (CCO) for Europe.

Lamouche, who has been a member of the Accor team since 2003, was most recently senior vice-president for sales and marketing, distribution and revenue management in Northern Europe, including the UK. Prior to that she was senior-vice president for economy and budget hotels in the UK.

In her new role, Lamouche will drive Accor's business revenue strategy across Europe, with a view to create "a more holistic, integrated and customer-centred approach" across all 36 Accor brands.

Lamouche said Accor was committed to "continued responsiveness, vision and dynamism" in delivering the best guest experience.

Franck Gervais, chief executive, Accor Europe, added: "Karelle will develop the strategy for all of Europe, leading and implementing an innovative approach to identify new commercial opportunities and harness the existing brand, sales, revenue and customer channels."

Accor has a portfolio of around 4,800 hotels across 100 countries.
