Lady Gaga joins the Langham London's 150th birthday celebrations

Images of the American singer were flashed around the world after she joined Duncan Palmer, managing director and regional vice-president Europe of parent company Langham Hospitality Group, and the hotel's pastry chef, Cherish Finden, on the steps of the hotel which opened on 10 June 1865.

Dressed to resemble the style of fictional character Pippi Longstocking, Lady Gaga cut the cake created by Cherish to represent the grand Victorian hotel.

Lady Gaga stayed at the five-AA-star, 380-bedroom during a series of concerts with American crooner Tony Bennett at the Royal Albert Hall. However, the final concert, last night, was cancelled due to Bennett's ill health.
