Legacy Hotels and Resorts adds Devon property to management portfolio
Legacy Hotels and Resorts has won the management deal for the Novotel hotel in Marsh Mills, Plymouth, after a change of ownership.
The Devon hotel has been renamed as the Legacy Plymouth International, taking the group's portfolio of managed and/or represented sites to 24 across the UK, Jersey and southern Spain.
Legacy's chief executive Andy Townsend said: "The 100-bedroom hotel fits our profile for hotels and is a well positioned foothold in the South-west.
"We have a number of pipeline projects that will have us becoming a better established name in the region."
The hotel's existing staff have transferred across to work under Legacy but the site's general manager is staying with Accor.
