Legacy Hotels moves into marketing and distribution
Hotel management company Legacy Hotels and Resorts is diversifying into marketing and distribution.
The group has agreed a deal to look after the sales, marketing and distribution of three hotels in North Wales: the The Wild Pheasant, the Bryn Howel and the Chainbridge Hotels in Llangollen.
The deal follows the sale of the Wild Pheasant hotel, which was already managed by Legacy, to the Lloyds Hotel Group.
Lloyds also owns the other two properties. The deal is estimated to be worth £150,000 a year to Legacy.
Andy Townsend, chief executive of Legacy, said: "Good sales, marketing and distribution are key aspects in the success of a hotel and we intend to maintain and develop the existing high standards at each of the hotels."
He added Legacy would now be looking to increase the Welsh group's sales in residential, leisure and corporate business.
