Legacy Hotels & Resorts signs management contract at Welsh hotel
Recently launched management company Legacy Hotels & Resorts has signed its fifth contract at the Wild Pheasant Hotel in Llangollen, Glwd.
Representing Legacy's first management deal in Wales, the three-year contract is worth £150,000 over three years.
All staff at the 19th century 46-bedroom country house hotel will continue to be employed under the terms of the arrangement, which commences officially today (31 July).
Legacy's chief executive Andy Townsend said: "We feel there is tremendous potential to further develop this hotel and will be working hard to focus on the wedding, conferences and leisure sectors."
Townsend said the company was currently in final negotiations on a number of UK Spanish management contracts.
Legacy currently runs the Falcon hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Bramhall County hotel in Manchester, the Oaklands Country House hotel near Grimsby and the Chesterfield hotel in Chesterfield.
It did manage Hotel de la Bere in Cheltenham until its sale into private hands in April.
