Leicester buyers for four-star Swansea guesthouse

Andrew Hall and Deena Pepper from Burnstall, Leicester, are the new owners of Swansea's Crescent Guest House.

The four-floor Edwardian townhouse, which has an elevated position in the Uplands district facing the bay, retains a number of period details such as stained glass windows, ornate cornicing and a large picture bay.

Along with six bedrooms, the guest house offers a 12-seat dining room and a residents' lounge. Owners' accommodation on the lower ground floor, which has direct access to the rear garden, contains a double bedroom, lounge and conservatory, kitchenette and bathroom.

The Bristol office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £499,950 on behalf of the Townsends.
