Lisburn buyers for hotel in Scottish fishing village

Andrew and Patricia Pedlow from Lisburn in County Antrim have snapped up the Seaview hotel in the Aberdeenshire fishing village of Boddam.

Boddam is on the doorstep of Peterhead, Europe's foremost fishing port.

The hotel occupies a traditional granite building that is more than 100 years old and provides nine letting bedrooms, a 26-seat lounge bar, and 32-seat restaurant with views over the North Sea, a public bar with a log cabin theme, and a function room for up to 90 guests.

The Edinburgh office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £275,000.
