Liverpool looks for media agency
Liverpool City Council is on the hunt for a media agency to support the European Capital of Culture festival and take on a wider remit.
Liverpool is European Capital of Culture 2008 and the city council, Sefton Borough Council and specialist body Liverpool Culture Company (LCC) are now seeking an agency for a three-year contract running until March 2010.
Mediavest Manchester has been handling projects for the council and LCC this year.
The brief asks that agencies can handle search engine optimisation and e-marketing alongside traditional media disciplines.
The appointment will be overseen by representatives from the three stakeholders, including marketing director for LCC Kris Donaldson.
LCC launched a campaign created by Finch in London, the South East and the North West in May this year.
