London hotels boost revpar by nearly 13%
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 12.7% in the week ending 23 October, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar climbed to £109.45, up from £97.12 during the equivalent week last year.
This growth was driven largely by a 10.9% increase in average room rate to £132.50, up from £119.44 in the corresponding week of 2005. Occupancy moved ahead by 1.3 percentage points to 82.6%.
