London hotels boost revpar by nearly 46%
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 45.6% in the week ending 23 July, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar climbed to £136.92, up from £94.06 during the equivalent week last year when trade was still reeling from the terrorist bombings.
Occupancy increased by 8.7 percentage points to 90% and average room rate grew by 31.5% to £152.06, up from £115.67 in the corresponding week of 2005.
