London Marriott Hotel Park Lane appoints Riddian Davies GM

The London Marriott Hotel Park Lane has appointed Riddian Davies as general manager.

Davies joins the 151-bedroom hotel, which completed an extensive renovation in 2015, following general manager roles in London at the Royal Horseguards hotel and One Whitehall Place. He has nearly 20 years of hospitality experience in a variety of roles within groups including Thistle, Guoman and Amba.

He takes over from Nicolas Kipper, who had been general manager since November 2014 and left late last year to become general manager of the Ritz-Carlton Budapest.

Davies said: "I am delighted to join London Marriott Hotel Park Lane and the Marriott International family at such an exciting time for both this newly refurbished Mayfair hotel as well as for the world's now largest and favourite travel company. Together with a team of industry experts, I am thrilled to drive our commercial activities and elevate our five star service to the next level at one of the most unique and best performing Marriott flagship hotels in the world.

"Grateful for the warm reception to the hotel and company, I am looking forward to continuing the brilliant success story of London Marriott Hotel Park Lane and creating memorable moments for our guests."
