London revpar grows by 12.3%

London revpar grows by 12.3%

London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 12.3% in the week ending 15 April, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar rose to £79.55, up from £70.83 during the equivalent week of 2006.

Although occupancy declined by 6.1 percentage points to 68.4%, this was offset by a 22.3% boost to average room rate to £116.31, up from £95.10 in the corresponding week of 2006.
