London revpar rises by nearly 11%
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 10.5% in the week ending 18 March, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar rose to £107.39, up from £97.19 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Although occupancy dropped by 2.2 percentage points to 79.7% this was offset by a 13.6% rise in average room rate to £134.76, up from £118.65 in the corresponding week of 2006.
