London revpar rises by nearly 14%
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 13.2% in the week ending 11 March, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar rose to £109.20, up from £96.44 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy grew by 1.8 percentage points to 79.2% while average room rate rose by 10.6% to £137.79, up from £124.56 in the corresponding week of 2006.
