London Waterloo's Days hotel on the market

The 162-bedroom Days hotel in London's Waterloo has been brought to the market.

The zone 1 property, which is operated under a Days hotel franchise agreement, is being marketed by Christie & Co on behalf of Law of Property Act Receiver Smith & Williamson.

Jeremy Jones, Christie & Co's head of brokerage, said: "The Days Hotel London-Waterloo represents a rare opportunity to acquire a substantial freehold hotel in the heart of London with significant repositioning and redevelopment potential. As such, we anticipate this opportunity will generate interest from a wide range of both domestic and international brands, operators and investors.

"London's global investor appeal remains as strong as ever in the hospitality space. The opportunity to acquire a freehold hotel with a variety of asset management opportunities will appeal to a range of buyers."

Things can only get better, says Christie & Co>>
