London's St Martin's Lane hotel and Sanderson to get revamped

Morgans Hotel Group (MHG) is to revamp its resturants and bars at its London properties.

The restaurant and terrace bar at its Sanderson hotel, which recently came top in Europe in TripAdvisor's Top 10 Hip Hotel List, is set to be redesigned by designer India Mahdavi for January 2007.

The design changes are being driven by MHG's new vice-president of design, Mari Balestrazzi.

Tim Miller, MHG's chief branding officer said: "We are redefining a modern classic by reinvigorating our brands and continuing our tradition of era-defining endeavours that have consistently set the standard for the industry."

MHG is also looking to expand worldwide, and is currently considering developing properties in the USA in areas including Scottsdale in Arizona, Las Vegas and Miami.
