Lords hotel caters for cricket addicts

Dorset Square hotel in London has launched a Cricket Withdrawal programme to help Ashes fans cope with the void created in their daily lives by the end of the series.

The hotel overlooks the site of the original Lords cricket ground laid down in 1787 by Thomas Lord and is a 15-minute walk from the present-day venue in Marylebone.

Dorset square's package includes a weekend stay and dinner as well as a tour of Lords where you can see the Ashes urn and Wisden Trophy, the players' dressing rooms and the NatWest media Centre, as well having a go in the nets.
