Luc Delafosse becomes general manager at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris

The Hotel de Crillon in Paris has appointed Luc Delafosse as general manager.

Delafosse replaces Jean-Claude Messant. He has more than 25 years' experience in the luxury hotel industry, starting his career at the Savoy in London.

He joined the Ritz in London in 1996, where he became managing director in 2001.

In 2003 he left for Dubai to join the Jumeirah group as general manager of the Burj Al Arab, and then returned to London in 2008 to undertake a luxury hotel project in the City on behalf of private investors.
