Mansley Serviced Apartments acquires Strozzi Palace in Cheltenham

Mansley Serviced Apartments has acquired Strozzi Palace in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire off a guide price of £1.5m.

The Grade II-listed building was available on a freehold tenure and sold for an undisclosed price. Built in 1894, the Italian style façade is modelled on the 15th century Palazzo Strozzi in Florence.

The six-suite Strozzi Palace Boutique Suites, as it is now known, is fully self-contained.

Chris Irving of Fleurets brokered the deal. He said: "The Strozzi Palace sale is indicative of a new breed of accommodation coming to the marketplace and demonstrates Fleurets' capabilities to sell unusual and profitable boutique opportunities which may not be considered traditional hotels."
