Marco Pierre White restaurant to open in the Hinckley Island hotel
Black and White Hospitality is to open a new Marco Pierre White restaurant at the Hinckley Island hotel in Leicestershire this summer.
The new Steakhouse Bar & Grill will open in August following a £310,000 refurbishment of the 369-room hotel's restaurant.
The 180-seater venue will be operated by Black and White Hospitality under a franchise agreement. The company owns the master franchise with Marco Pierre White for the Steakhouse Bar & Grill brand.
Tony Hill, executive general manager at the Hinckley Island hotel, said: "The opening of the MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill is a clear statement of intent regarding our ambition for the Hinckley Island hotel to become the leading conference venue in the Midlands.
"We are confident the new restaurant will become a destination for local food lovers, as well as enhancing the experience for conference delegates and guests from across the UK.
"Our diners can expect Marco's extremely high standards and exacting attention to detail to be evident in every single dish on the menu and the whole team is looking forward to creating a vibrant, exciting venue that stands alongside the region's best."
"The Hinckley Island Hotel is a quality, contemporary hotel and a fantastic location for MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill. We can't wait to work with the hotel's team to deliver a venue that the local community and guests return to time and again and are looking forward to starting work on site in early July."
