Marriott Leeds appoints Glen Whitaker bar manager

Following the completion of its £500,000 refurbishment project, Marriott Leeds has appointed Glen Whitaker as bar manager. Whitaker, whose previous roles include general manager at the Stonehaven hotel in Aberdeenshire and operations manager at the Britannia hotel, Aberdeen, joins from Revolution, Huddersfield. He will take the helm at the new 1871 Bar & Lounge, the first non-Marriott concept bar in any UK Marriott hotel.
