Master Innholders announces details of 2019 Hotel General Managers Conference

The recruitment crisis and political uncertainty will be among the topics to be tackled at the 2019 Hotel General Managers Conference.

Titled Now Is The Time To…, the two-day event organised by the Master Innholders will also discuss development opportunities and growing number of industry disruptors. The event intends to provide hotel operators with an insight that can help inspire them to drive future change in their businesses.

Speakers will include David Guile, former chief executive of Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, who is now an executive leadership coach; Kate Nicholls, chief executive of UKHospitality; David Bailey, director of property company CBRE; Marco Reick, director of people at Leon; Stefan Wissenbach, a serial entrepreneur; and Ian Millar, technology expert and senior lecturer at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.

The conference will be chaired by Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain Hotels.

David Taylor, chairman of the Master Innholders Conference, said: "The 2019 conference aims to empower hoteliers to step out of their comfort zone and revolutionise their approach to operating their businesses. This isn't a time to be standing still, we need to come together and take the next steps to ensure we continue to be one of the top industries in the country. I hope to see many professionals join us for a revolutionising two days."
