Master Innholders Conference to explore the future of hospitality
Olga Polizzi, deputy chairman and director of design at Rocco Forte Hotels, is to be the keynote speaker at the Master Innholders 24th Annual Hotel General Managers' Conference in January. She will tell delegates how hotels can adapt to the modern world without losing the art of traditional hospitality.
Entitled "The Next Generation. An Industry Revolution", the conference will seek to educate and inspire delegates on the future of the industry. Speakers at the two-day event, chaired by chief executive of Pride of Britain Peter Hancock, will focus on the year's hottest trends and newest legislation.
Jonathan Raggett, former chairman of the Master Innholders and managing director of Red Carnation Hotels, will oversee a panel discussing the boundaries of the industry and topical issues, while Ufi Ibrahim, chief executive of the British Hospitality Association, will outline new legislation affecting the industry over the coming year and the impact they may have on hotels.
Debbie Taylor, chairman of the conference committee and regional managing director at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, said: "This year's title represents the cyclical evolvement of the hospitality industry and the generations of strategies, design, leadership and customers. The industry is constantly developing to be better and bigger, and the conference signifies this and looks at how we can continue to innovate for generations to come."
The conference will take place on 16 and17 January 2017 at the Hilton London Bankside.
