Master Innholders elect four new members
Potential new Master Innholders are invited to attend an interview before being officially elected. The new members are: Franck Arnold, general manager, the Balmoral hotel, Edinburgh; Nick Holmes, managing director, Rockliffe Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa; Kevin Kelly, general manager, St Pancras Renaissance hotel, London; and Miles Pooley, general manager, London Marriott hotel, Park Lane, London.
Holmes, who has been managing director at Rockliffe Hall since it launched in 2009, said he was "tremendously honoured" to be recognised by his industry peers to be elected as a Master Innholder. "It came as quite a shock but I can't deny that it is a real privilege to have my career recognised in this way."
The official induction ceremony, which saw the Master Innholders grow to around 140 members, was held at the Innholder Hall in the City of London.
