McAleer & Rushe secures contract to develop Hampton by Hilton at Stanstead
Developer McAleer & Rushe has won a £26m contract to design and build Europe's largest Hampton by Hilton at Stansted Airport.
The eight-storey hotel, which will operate under a franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide, will open in summer 2017.
Peter Devlin, contracts director of McAleer & Rushe has established itself as the "go-to contractor for airport hotels" because of its ability to provide "design-led solutions" for challenging locations. "We look forward to building a long term relationship with Urban&Civic and are very pleased to continue our on-going partnership with Hilton."
McAleer & Rushe previously built the Hampton by Hilton hotels at Gatwick Airport, London Waterloo and Bournemouth.
Hampton by Hilton has 16 hotels in the UK and Ireland, with a further 17 under development.
