Michelin-starred chefs create dinner for Daniel Nicholls Trust

An opportunity to buy tickets for a unique fund-raising dinner hosted by three-Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux has arisen.

Roux, together with Michelin-starred chefs from the UK, Italy and France, is holding a dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park on 24 September to raise funds for chef David Nicholls' son, Daniel, who broke his neck while on his gap year travelling in Australia nearly five years ago. The accident left Daniel paralysed from the arms down.

A five-course meal, created by Waterside Inn chef-patron Alain Roux, Jean-Michel Lorain of Restaurant La Cote Saint-Jacques in Joigny, France, Anniel Feolde of Restaurant Enoteca Pinchiorri in Firenze, Italy and a dessert prepared by leading patissier Pierre Herme, will be served prior to an auction, conducted by Lord Jeffrey Archer. Among the prizes on offer are a private dinner party for six cooked by three-Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal and a round of golf for three people with Gary Lineker at the exclusive Queenwood Golf Club in Surrey.

Tickets cost £500 per head or £5,000 for a table of 10. The event starts at 7.15pm. To buy a ticket for the dinner, contact Tanya Hamilton, tanyahamilton@nichollsfoundation.org.uk, or Ann Scott, ann@annscott.co.uk, or telephone 020 7823 9988.
