Mike Chambers named general manager of Guyzance Hall

Mike Chambers has been appointed general manager of Guyzance Hall near Morpeth in Northumberland.

Billed as a customer service specialist, Chambers spent 20 years with British Airways as steward in charge of first class before owning and running a country pub in Yorkshire. He joins Guyzance Hall from Northumbria Coast & Country Cottages, where he was deputy director.

He said: "Having come from Newcastle, but spent a lifetime travelling where the opportunities have been, I'm pleased to come back to the North East, and this new challenge at Guyzance. Here, the focus is on offering the very highest quality and level of customer care and I am looking forward to working with the team to ensure that every guest who stays here has a visit that meets if not exceeds their expectations."

The 15-bedroom hall is available for self-catering and fully-catered lets as well as meetings and events. It is sister venue to Eshott Hall near Morpeth, and Doxford Hall near Alnwick.
