Montcalm Hotels relaunches Paddington property as the Chilworth
The Montcalm Hotel Group has rebranded the Shaftesbury Premier London Paddington as the Chilworth following a refurbishment of the Georgian property.
The first of what the group describes as its "new generation of boutique townhouse hotel", the Chilworth has undergone a major renovation for an undisclosed sum with guest wellbeing in mind. Features include a gym and spa facilities, "vitamin-infused coffee pods", "vitamin C-infused showers" and complimentary cycle hire.
Re-launched today, the Chilworth aims to marry period features with contemporary design across its 124 bedrooms, restaurant and bar.
Vinayak Girgune is the hotel's general manager.
A spokesperson for Montcalm management said: "We wanted to create somewhere our guests can feel a real sense of belonging whenever they're in town, equally at home relaxing in the cosy bar or sociable lobby lounge as in their room.
"Enlightened luxury means looking after guests' wellbeing too, so as well as an urban spa and gym, we've invested in amenities like a wellbeing ambassador, always on hand to help guests towards their lifestyle goals, even away from home."
