Multi-million pound spa set for Ye Olde Bell in Barnby Moor
The four-AA-star, 59-bedroom Ye Olde Bell hotel in Barnby Moor, Nottinghamshire, has announced the opening of a multi-million pound spa in the spring.
Located adjacent to the 17th century hotel, the two-storey spa will feature six treatment rooms and the first "snowstorm" experience for the UK. It will also feature Sabbia Med sunlight therapy, salt cascade room, rasul mud therapy, herbal laconium and an indoor-to-outdoor hydropool.
The spa has been designed in conjunction with Spa Vision and LB Therapies, the latter which has run a beauty salon in the hotel for the past four years, with the interior created by Homestead Interiors.
Sadie Ardron-Levack, the hotel's spa director, said Ye Olde Bell hopes the new venture will be recognised as one of the leading spas within the UK.
"We are passionate about understanding our guests and to ensure we provide a spa experience that is bespoke to them, whether this be relaxation, indulgence, well being, invigoration or a combination of all four," she explained.
Ye Olde Bell was acquired by Paul and Hilary Levack since 2002, when the hotel was operated by Swallow Hotels & Inns. When Swallow went into administration in 2006, the Levack took of the management themselves and have since fully restored the property.
