New appointments at Jumeirah Group's London hotels

Jumeirah Group has made a number of new appointments and promotions across the conference and banqueting and food and beverage teams at its two London hotels.

Francisco De Lima, who has more than 14 years' experience in the hospitality industry, joins Jumeirah Carlton Tower as manager of the Rib Room. His most recent role.was food and beverage manager at the Soho hotel.

With more than 10 years' service at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Robert Lyall returns to the hotel's conference and banqueting team as operations director. He previously held the position of assistant restaurant and bar manager at the Rib Room. He will manage a team of 40 overseeing conferences, cocktail receptions, exhibitions, award dinners and weddings.

Meanwhile, Shudhanshu Kaushik will take on the role of food and beverage manager at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel. He will oversee the Lowndes Bar & Kitchen, seasonal summer terrace and in-room dining operations. He joins from the Royal Horseguards hotel where he was food and beverage operations manager.

Mirza takes on a newly-created role with the team, focusing on weddings and social events.

Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts manages properties in the Middle East, Europe, the Maldives and Asia. Future openings include luxury and lifestyle hotels in China, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Russia and the UAE.
