New Cheshire golf resort and spa to create 100 more jobs
The Mere golf resort and spa in Knutsford, Cheshire is to create 100 new jobs starting in January 2012.
In March 2012 following a period of redevelopment, the Mere will open as a luxury resort, offering event facilities, golf course and spa along with a new build hotel comprising 81 rooms, including suites and 3 dining options across the resort.
A variety of roles including head concierge, night manager and rooms division manager are currently being recruited for as several new departments will be put in place ahead of the hotel launch. There will also be a number of positions across food & beverage to support the resort's new restaurants.
Two recruitment open days for potential candidates will be held at the Mere, the first on 14 November to recruit for front of house positions, followed by 5 December for food and beverage positions, including chefs.
The recruitment drive will see the Mere's current team expand from 130 to 230.
Graeme Nesbitt, general manager of the Mere commented: "This is a very exciting time for us as a company and it's fantastic to be able to boost the local job market with our new development, especially in the current economic climate. It is such a great opportunity for anyone interested in furthering their career at the luxury end of the hospitality industry."
Graeme Nesbitt appointed GM at Mere Golf Resort & Spa >>
