New city centre group Z Hotels launches with free Wi-Fi
A new hotel brand that aims to offer a central location at a reasonable price, combined with style and free technology, is due to launch in London next month.
The first property from Z Hotels will open in 12 converted Georgian townhouses in Soho, close to Cambridge Circus. All 85 bedrooms will feature 40in LED HD televisions with all Sky Sports and Sky Movies, as well as Wi-Fi, at no additional cost.
Starting from £85, the rooms will also include power showers, bespoke hand-crafted beds and i-docking stations.
Bev King, who previously worked for Thistle Hotels, has helped create the brand, which intends to fill a gap in the market.
"We know that when visitors to cities book their accommodation, a central location and reasonable price point are the key factors in making their decision as to where to stay," he said. "But customers also want a stylish interior, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi as standard.
"We believe you shouldn't have to compromise on one to have the other, which is why we have launched Z Hotels. Whether in London or elsewhere, all our priorities will be centrally located, design-led hotels at an affordable price."
